Sienna

 

 

hello !!

today we were at Sienna...

another town beside florence in tuscany....it was an hour by bus...

very beautiful scenery....typically italian...large lands with villa s in between with vines growing on them....but i feel we came on the wrong time of the year....

during summer these huge lands are filled with the most beautiful flowers just like in the postcards....image acres and acres of sun flowers...thts ideally sienna

the city was quaint....with reddish buildings....very pretty..spent half a day there and then got back to florence...

it was gloomy cuz of the weather...

tomoro is christmas so we planning to go to the midnight mass at the duomo today...we ll see if we have enough energy after dinner...

making soup an pasta...

tomoro we roam around some more....eat a real meal at a real restaurant to cheer caity up cuz its christmas and she s away from home..

then at night we leave for rome...train at 7 and we reach around 9.30...:)

im super excited for rome !!
